In this unprecedented period of uncertainty and worry, the AT Society is doing all it can to provide reliable information and support to all those living with AT. At a time when many of us will be feeling isolated and alone, here is a message from William Davis, the Society’s chief executive.
We’re continuing to do our best to provide you with the most up to date information regarding the Government guidance on shielding and how to register for support as an extremely vulnerable person.
Kay Atkins, the Society’s Family Support Manager, recorded a message to explain the importance of shielding and staying at home.
We wanted say a massive well done to all of you for sticking to the governments advice regarding observing shielding measures and to encourage you all to keep doing all you can to stay healthy, safe and at home.
We realise these are very challenging times and that there is still some confusion about how people living with AT are being communicated with by the NHS and local authorities. Please know we continue to work hard on your behalf to gain clarity and clear information during these worrying times.
Anne Murray, the Society’s Family Support Coordinator, recorded a message to explain some of the govt. measures for all regions of the UK and the Republic of Ireland. Please note the video is quite long, but hopefully contains useful information for AT families in all these regions
