Fundraising Manager

(30 – 37.5 hours per week)


Calling all fundraisers! We have an exciting opportunity working with a passionate team at a unique charity.

The AT Society is the only UK charity making a daily difference to the lives of people with ataxia telangiectasia, and those who care for them. We offer extensive emotional and practical support for everyone affected by the disabling and life-limiting condition and invest in cutting-edge research to find a cure and improve treatments.

If you’re keen to make a positive difference to the lives of people affected by this rare condition, and you are an experienced, ambitious, fundraiser, with a fantastic track record in securing funds predominantly from Trusts but across other income streams too, then we’d love to hear from you.

Reporting to the Director Fundraising & Operations, and working closely with our small fundraising team, you will be responsible for delivering the fundraising strategy across a variety of income streams, including trusts & foundations, corporate, community and legacies, as well as working closely with the marketing lead to further promote the work of the charity.

You will manage a portfolio of trust and corporate relationships and will develop strong partnerships with funders, working collaboratively across the organisation to develop proposals and timely reports. You will identify potential sources of funds, develop the charity’s Case for Support and implement creative fundraising and legacy campaigns.

This role is key to ensuring we continue to raise vital funds to directly improve the lives of those affected by AT and achieve our plans for growth. As the role works closely with frontline staff, it offers the right candidate a real opportunity to see the impact of our work on the children, young people and the families who use our services.

We are particularly interested in someone with a solid background in Trusts fundraising.  You will also have a breadth of experience and knowledge of different fundraising channels, be a team player, have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and be a confident public speaker.
