New diagnosis

If you or your child/relative has just been diagnosed with Ataxia-Telangiectasia (A-T) or a variant of A-T, we understand this is a shock and a difficult time for the whole family.

However when you are ready please contact 'Kay Atkins', our Family Support Worker, on 01582 760733, or email Kay

In the first instance Kay will talk through your individual situation and help with a listening ear and lots of support.

Kay will also be able to answer your questions and give advice and information about A-T. She will then guide you through the next steps, for example making arrangements for an appointment at one of our A-T specialist centres.

Please note that all calls and other communication are treated in complete confidence. Kay's normal working hours are Monday-Friday: 8.30am - 4.30pm.
