SUPPORT GRANTS “Hello! I’m Neil and I want to thank the A-T Society and all the Trustees for their help in enabling me to purchase a smashing new wheelchair and a much needed shower chair.” The Society has allocated some limited funds in order to provide support grants to families affected by A-T. These grants can help with expenses such as:
If you have A-T or a person for whom you care has A-T and needs new equipment to meet daily living requirement but your local authority is not offering to pay for it, please contact the Society. Kay Atkins, our Family Support Worker, will be able to advise you on the local authority support to which you may be entitled and about other sources of funding, including grants made by the Society.
