

The A-T Children’s Project, was founded in 1993.
The A-T Children’s Project was formed to raise funds through events and contributions from corporations, foundations and friends. These funds are used to accelerate first-rate, international scientific research aimed at finding a cure and improving the lives of all children with Ataxia-Telangiectasia.

Contact a Family provides help and advice for families of children through its Freephone Helpline 0808 808 3555. Contact a Family can link families and encourage mutual support between parents. Contact a Family publishes a quarterly newsletter, Share an Idea, and the Contact a family directory of Specific Conditions, Rare Disorders and UK Family Support Groups produced in paper, CD-ROM and on-line formats.
Primary Immunodeficiency Association

The Primary Immunodeficiency Association is a national support group and registered charity. It represents the interests of those affected by immunodeficiences and has a range of useful information leaflets.

The Neurological Alliance is a collaborative forum of a wide range of neurological charities. By working together members of the Alliance pursue the highest standards of service and care for the estimated three million people in the UK affected by a neurological condition, their families and carers.

The Genetic Interest Group ("GIG") is a national alliance of organisations with a membership of over 120 charities which support children, families and individuals affected by genetic disorders / genetic diseases. Its primary goal is to promote awareness and understanding of genetic disorders so that high quality services for people affected by genetic conditions are developed and made available to all who need them.
The Ataxia Group deal with all other ataxias for example Friedreich's Ataxia and Cerebellar Ataxia.
The UK Primary Immunodeficiency Network (UKPIN) is a multidisciplinary organisation of those caring for patients with primary immunodeficiencies.
The A-T Society is a member of the Association of Medical Research Charities (AMRC) - a membership organisation of the leading medical and health research caharities in the UK.
