A-T Society News

The Society produces "A-T Society News" twice-yearly which is sent as far a field as Australia, India and Russia.

A-T Society News is aimed at:-

  • A-T families
  • Medical and health-care professionals, especially those who have direct responsibility for the care of a child or adult with A-T (including GPs)
  • Friends and supporters

The objectives of "A-T Society News" are:

  • To keep families and health-care professionals abreast of developments in research and clinical management of A-T and to broaden their knowledge of the issues.
  • To provide positive images of children and adults with A-T.
  • To raise awareness.
  • To provide a balanced picture of hope.
  • To reduce the feeling of isolation of families affected by A-T.

  • Ataxia Awareness Day
  • Reflexology
  • Fundraising
  • London Marathon
  • Debt Advice
  • Information Exchange
